PHOENIX, Arizona - COSFORD, UK (September 19, 2008) -- The Royal Air Force Museum Cosford chose the Digivey interactive customer satisfaction feedback system to monitor customer satisfaction.
Michelle Worthing, Marketing Assistant of the Royal Air Force Museum, who recently introduced the Digivey touch screen survey system for evaluating customer satisfaction at the Museum gave this appraisal:
“Digivey has been in place at the Museum for three months and immediately we were impressed with the information collected and the ease at which the results are turned into printable reports.
The Museum previously used a number of different methods to collect market research data. We were finding it challenging to gather sufficient quantities of usable data as each of the previous surveys varied so much. We found that a lot of visitors didn’t like completing face-to-face surveys and the number of responses to the printed questionnaires was extremely low. Analysing the data after it had been captured was also time consuming.
After installing Digivey, the number of responses to surveys dramatically increased. We are now gathering responses from a much higher proportion of our visitors making the data more accurate. We are finding that visitors are much happier to complete the survey using the touch screens rather than a face-to-face survey or completing the printed questionnaire because it’s a lot quicker to complete! We are able to analyse the data for specific periods relevant to us such as school holidays, or for a particular event. We have been able to combine the various surveys used before with the potential of developing the survey even further in the future by tailoring it to specific groups of visitors such as corporate or educational visits. Analysing the data is now instant, you can select what responses you want included and the results are graphed for you. This saves a huge amount of staff time.
